About Me

In my journey to becoming the best designer I could be while freelancing, creating logos, and designing social media advertisements, I discovered the intersection between design and technology. I was fascinated by how design can influence behavior, shape user experiences, and improve website functionality through my knowledge of design principles and color theory. This realization led me to pursue a career in web development.

When I first encountered coding, I immediately saw it as a blank canvas, one I could fill with algorithms and programming languages. This new path presented an exciting challenge, merging artistic expression with technical innovation. I can't wait to see what I'll create next.

Projects

Giftune

Giftune is an app designed to keep you on top of your loved ones upcoming birthdays, where you can effortlessly select the perfect gift. A full stack PERN web application.

Tetris

Tetris web application designed with a retro aesthetic and intuitive gameplay mechanics. The site also offers an interactive environment replicating the classic Windows 98 home screen.

Contrast Checker

In this project I had a desire to gain a deeper understanding of how contrast ratios work. The site inculdes a ratio checker, UX compoents and a mock land page for reference and immediate application.

reCalibrate

ReCalibrate is a npm package that enables real-time CSS changes, allowing you to adjust the width and height of components using a drag-and-drop feature.

Authenticator

A full-stack authentication and security project featuring user authentication with JWT, session management with Redis, secure password reset functionality, and multi-factor auth with time-based one time password verification.

Captrivia

This is a real-time multiplayer trivia game. I one week I was able to learned about WebSockets and implemented them to enable real-time interactions and game updates.

Is there a software you wish you had built or been apart of?

As a designer and coder, I've always dreamed of joining teams like Figma, Adobe, Procreate, or Photoshop—platforms that empower creativity and help users bring their visions to life. The thought of contributing to tools that shape the creative industry and inspire artists, designers, and creators worldwide is incredibly exciting to me.

What are your hobbies?

As of recently I have taken up photography and basketball. I was thinking of creating a gallery website for my photos soon!

If you could only bring three movies with you to watch while stranded on a desert island, what would they be?

The movies I would take with me are Blade Runner 2049, Fight Club, and Edward Scissorhands. And if I had to choose two more it would be Interstella and The Place Beyond the Pines.
